OK. There is no pretending why I'm not updating much or my lack of photos.
Mama Flamingo has now legally gone insane.
The Rockstar Nurse is coming home today after 5 days away. Sadly he leaves again for another 5.
Lil' Rocker turned 3 yesterday. There was no celebrating. I have recently described him as Chuckie or Dennis the Menace gone evil.
He has become defiant in ways I've never seen.
He unlocked our deadbolts and went outside while I was in the shower. He wouldn't come in while I called for him dripping wet, not dressed and with a towel on my head.
There have been showings of orphanage behavior. Not from Yao Yao. But from Lil' Rocker. He has spit at me. Whaaaat?
On Sunday at church he ran across the room and body slammed YaoYao. He smiled.
On Sunday night, he followed YaoYao out of the tub. He body slammed her again. He smiled. Again.
He screams..."doooon't" when she looks at him.
He stares at her until she screams, "doooon't".
By the point, Mama is ready to scream "doooon't too.
And Sha Sha. Did you know that Chuckie had a older sister?
The Rockstar Nurse has gone away on this trip every year for the past 8 years. I look forward to it. And for the 1st time ever, we've talked about him cutting it short.
I believe that evil forces have invaded my house.
Don't worry. YaoYao is doing well. She causes me stress, only 1% of my day.

Praying things around the house will get much easier. I keep telling my mom that Noah and Yao Yao need to get together because some days I swear he is speaking her language. Unfort. it takes time for everyone to adjust to each other. Yao Yao looked so cute at church on Sunday. My mom (mammawl) rubbed it in that she seen her the other Sunday and talked to her. Still praying for you and your family

This happened to us too-YOU WILL get through it. Jealousy is a VERY TOUGH THING for toddlers to handle. THIS TOO SHALL PASS although I felt during it, it never would. We talked to a counselor and she gave us suggestions over the phone and they worked. HUGS!
Oh, the adjustments are so fun! Hold on to your sanity! You can make it through!
Maybe Lil' Rocker needs to join Daddy for his second trip. :) I know that isn't possible, but it sounds like his wrath on you is related to missing his favorite person in the whole world. Glad to hear YaoYao is still doing so well - despite all the other craziness!
ya know what i love? in the midst of the frustration and desperation, you still have a sense of humor. you may be certifiable insane at this point, but you are able to laugh about it. (lol about chuckie and his sister.) that is a gift to your entire family. you're gonna make it, flamingo mama. you and your whole flock. i will pray for you while the rockstar nurse is gone again.
It sounds like your honeymoon is over, too! I'm so sorry you're going through rough times. I know we're seeing bizarre behavior from Peanut, too. Maybe we need to send them all on a hunting trip together.....
oh goodness...chuckie sounds a little like his cousin Peyton when he was that age;) I'll be praying for you!
Maybe, someday you'll look back and laugh...? Maybe?
Hang in there girl! Keeping your sense of humor can be a very therapudic thing. heh.
We had the same type behaviors from our Kai shortly after we came home with Chloe. Kai had been potty trained for over two years and shocked us when He. Pooped. His. Pants.........NOT once, but over and over again!!
It is hard to see our bios respond to adoption negatively, But, it is TOTALLY NORMAL!! I promise you will get through this (:
Sister,Sister (Flamingo Mama) hang in there girl. Do as I did many years ago I went on a little strike. It was what I needed and it worked. I took a night bag a good little book went to a motel that even had a in-door pool, restaurant. Stayed till the last minute then went to a mall and walked around came back the next night when dinner was ready and sat down with the family. Oh did I forget to tell you I didn't tell them where I was or have my cell phone on. But I did turn it on every once in awhile to see if I had a message that one of the kids killed the other ha ha. Just hang in there. Give it a try it won't hurt Rockstar Nurse to deal with the flock for 1 day work or no work. I will be praying for you
Oh not fun at all! I feel your pain! My little Yaya started spitting and acting a fright. I was told she was hitting other kids on Easter Sunday and she even bit her little girlfriend last week. WHHAAAAT?! I'll keep praying for both of us.
I am so sorry you having such a time with lil'rocker. Who knew our children that have been in the home the longest would be the bigger problem????? Claire's new thing is I don't remember?!?!?! When asked why is Kevin crying? Why are the toys all out of the toybox? Etc....
It was so great talking with you yesterday. I totally needed that! Wishing we lived closer. I was telling the older kids all about your family at dinner. Wow would they have a blast playing together. I think the hubbies would enjoy it too. I know you and I would! Hang in there. These are some of the hardest days. It will get better from here.
