Introducing the Rockstar Nurse!

And so it's time to introduce more of the cast of characters in my flamingo flock.

First, let me introduce to you my hubby... My husband is hot. I am allowed to say that because he is my husband. I'm really not the jealous type, so if you want to say he's hot too..that's ok. I'm the one who won him, so it doesn't make me mad! :0

I really thought of using the name 1 Hot Dad. That made him smile quite a bit.

However, the initial name that came to head that fits him perfectly is The Rockstar Nurse.

My husband is a very talented musician. He writes, he sings and plays guitar. Over the past 3 years, I have seen him grow phenomenally...his voice and his guitar abilities. He does not think he is "that" good, but he is.

My husband is also a nurse. Yes, a nurse. I think this really shocks some people. The musician ,nah, people expect that. He gets asked all of the time if he is a musician. The nurse part really throws them.

And to really throw you off, he also hunts. However, The Hunting Rockstar Nurse is just way too much to write each time;)

My hubby is a kick butt nurse too. And before you ask, I will tell you about where he works. He works in a post surgical/trauma unit in the hospital. I always describe it as an ICU but for surgeries and traumas. He is a supervisory role on his unit. He also does a lot of student teaching, mentoring and precepting. Although that comes in waves, because he often is ready to throw the students out the window;)

I could go on and on about this man and what an incredible hubby and daddy he is, but I need to save some material for future posts;)
